Answer:6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let side of new cube be x

Then volume of new cube=sum of volumes of 3 cubes

x^3=4^3+3^3+5^3

=64+27+125

=216

=6^3

x=6

ANSWER:-

GIVEN:

__________

Among Three metal cubes ,

the side of the 1st cube is 4 cm.

the side of the 2nd cube is 3 cm.

the side of the 3rd cube is 5cm.

TO FIND:

____________

The side of the new constructed cube .

SOLUTION:

_______________

As we know the reconstructed cube's volume is equals to the total volumes of the other cubes.

the volume of the cube is a^3.

The volume of the 1st cube is=(4)^3=64cm^3

The volume of the 2nd cube is =(3)^3=27cm^3

The volume of the 3rd cube is=(5)^3=125 cm^3

let the side of the new cube is a.

The total volume of the cubes =the volume of the new cube

=>(64+27+125)cm^3= a^3

=>216cm^3=a^3

=>a^3=216cm^3

=>a^3=(6)^3cm^3

=>a=3(6)^3cm^3

=>a=6cm

so the side of the reconstructed cube is 6cm.
