vol. of three cubes = volume of final cube
a1^3 + a2^3 +a3^3 = a^3
where a1 = 3, a2 =4, a3 =5cm
3^3 + 4^3 + 5^3 = a^3
27 + 64 +125 = a^3
216 = a^3
a = 3√216
a = 6
there fore the large cube edge a = 6
now area of the large cube = a^2
=6^2
= 36
... area of large cube is 36cm^2
