Three number are in ratio 1:2:3 and the sum is 4500. Find the numbers.

Let a, b and c be the three numbers.
Given a:b:c = 1:2:3
Let a = k , b = 2k, and c = 3k
Their sum = 4500
k + 2k + 3k = 4500    then  k = 750
Hence a = 750, b = 1500 and c = 2250
