x=6
a=12*6=72
b=15*6=90
c=25*6=150
a+b+c=72+90+150=312

Answer:

The ratio is 3:10

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of a, b and c is given by 12 : 15 : 25.

Thus, the numbers are 12x, 15x and 25x

Now, the sum of these numbers is 312. Hence, we have

12x+15x+25x=312\\52x=312\\x=6

Hence, the numbers are

a = 12× 6 = 72

b = 15× 6 =90

c = 25× 6 = 150

Ratio between difference of b and a and the difference of c and b is

\frac{b-a}{c-b}\\\\=\frac{90-72}{150-90}\\\\=\frac{18}{60}\\\\=\frac{3}{10}

Hence, the required ratio is 3:10
