Let the three numbers be (a-d) , a , (a+d)

(a-d) + a + (a+d) = 27

=> 3a = 27

=> a = 27/3

=> a = 9

(a-d) × a × (a+d) = 648

=> (9-d) × 9 × (9+d) = 648

=> (9-d) × (9+d) = 648/9

=> 81 - d^2 = 72

=> d^2 = 81 - 72

=> d^2 = 9

=> d = √9

=> d = ± 3

when d = 3,

nos. = (9-3) , 9 (9+3)

= 6 , 9 , 12

when d = - 3,

nos. = (9+3) , 9 (9-3)

= 12 , 9 , 6

Therefore the nos. are = 6 , 9 and 12
