Given ratio of three numbers = 2 : 3 : 4

Let first number = 2x ,

second number = 3x ,

third number = 4x ,

product of three numbers = 1536 ( given )

⇒ 2x × 3x × 4x = 1536

⇒ 24x³ = 1536

⇒ x³ = 1536/( 24 )

⇒ x³ = 64

⇒ x³ = 4³

∴ x = 4
