Three numbers are in the ratio 2:3:5.given that the product of the extremes is 90, find the difference between the largest and smallest of them.

so 2x and 5x

2x \times 5x = 90 \\ 10 {x}^{2}  = 90 \\  {x}^{2}  = 9 \\ x =  \sqrt{9}  = 3 \\ 2x = 18 \\ 5x = 45 \\ difference = 45 - 18 = 27
