Given that

Sum of the cubes of 3 numbers = 0.098784

Solution

according to question,

(x)^3 + (2x)^3 + (3x)^3 = 0.098784

=> x^3 + 8x^3 + 27x^3 = 0.098784

=> 36x^3 = 0.098784/6

=> x^3 = 0.016464/36

=> x = 0.14

1st number = 0.14

2nd number = 2 × 0.14 = 0.28

3rd number = 3 × 0.14 = 0.42

Hence , the required numbers are 0.14 , 0.28 and 0.42.
