Ratio: 3 : 5 : 7

Define x:

Let the constant ratio be x.

Ratio: 3x : 5x : 7x

Form equation and solve for x:

Sum of the cubes is 495

(3x)³ + (5x)³ + (7x)³ = 495

27x³ + 125x³+ 343x³ = 495

495x³ = 495

x³ = 1

x = 1

Find the numbers:

3x = 3(1) = 3

5x = 5(1) = 5

7x = 7(1) = 7

Answer: The numbers are 3, 5 and 7

Hello user

Let the three numbers be 3x,5x and 7x

ATQ, we have

(27 + 125 + 343)x^3 = 495

495x^3 = 495

x^3 = 1

x = 1

So the three numbers are....

3,5 and 7

Hope it works
