Let ,the three numbers are 3x,7x,9x

if 5 is subtracted = 7x - 5( A.P)

b= a + c/2

7x - 5 = (3x + 9x )/2

2(7x - 5) = 12x

14x - 10 = 12x

14x - 12x = 10

2x = 10 => 10/2 =5

Numbers are 3(5), 7(5), 9(5)= 15, 35, 45
