Three of the exterior angles of a hexagon are 40°, 51° and 86º. If each of the remaining exterior angles is xº, find the value of x.​

Given :-

  • Three of the exterior angles of a hexagon are 40°, 51° and 86º.

  • If each of the remaining exterior angles is xº.

To Find :-

  • The value of x

As we know that :-

Hexagon has 6 sides and Sum of exterior angles = 360°

According to the given question :-

= > 40 + 51 + 86 + x + x + x = 360

= > 177 + 3x = 360

= > 3x = 360 - 177

= > 3x = 183

=> x = \dfrac{183}{3}

=> x = 61

Hence,

The value of x is 61.
