Chord doesn't belong to the group. (option a)
- A circle is a closed shape in which all the points lying on the circle are at some fixed distance from a common point.
- This common point is termed as center and the distance from the common point to the boundary of circle is called the radius.
- Circumference is the total length of the boundary of the circle.
- Chord on the other hand, is a line segment joining two points on the circle.
While drawing the circle , we somehow get a glimpse of center and circumference whereas to observe a chord we need to draw a line segment using a ruler. And this separates it out from the rest.
