Explanation:

The frequency of pendulum A is given = 0.5 Hz

The frequency of pendulum B is given = 0.05 Hz

The frequency of pendulum C is given = 0.005 Hz

We know from the definition that frequency is the no. of occurrence of events or no. of oscillations per unit time. So, the formula is represented as,

f = [1/T] Hz or T = [1/f] seconds

Step 1:

Based on the formula given above, the calculations of the time period for each of the pendulums to complete 1 oscillation are as follows:

For A: 1/0.5 = 2 seconds

For B: 1/0.05 = 20 seconds

For C: 1/0.005 = 200 seconds

Step 2:

We are also given that pendulum B completes 200 oscillations, so,

The time required to complete 200 oscillations by B = 20 * 200 = 4000 seconds …. [since B makes 1 oscillation in 20 seconds]

Now, we need to find the no. of oscillations that pendulum A & C makes in the same time period of 4000 seconds as that of pendulum B.

Thus,

No. of oscillations by pendulum A in 4000 seconds = 4000/2 = 2000 …… [since A makes 1 oscillation in 2 seconds]

And,

No. of oscillations by pendulum C in 4000 seconds = 4000/200 = 20 …… [since C makes 1 oscillation in 200 seconds]

Hope this is helpful!!!!!!
