three person, A, B & C are made to hear a sound travelling through different mediums as given below: person A iron rod, person B air & person C water. who will hear the sound first?why?

Person A will listen first coz sound travels faster in solid than in air and then in liquid.
so iron is a solid so sound travels in it faster than other.
so A will listen first

We know that Sound travels fastest in Solids then in Liquids and at last in Gases.

Person A Will hear the sound first ,,, As the medium is Iron rod .

Person B will hear the sound at Last because medium is Gaseous .
