Three persons A, B and C are pushing a heavy box as shown in the given figure.

B

A applies twice the force compared to that applied by B, while Bis applying twice the force compared to that applied by C. IfB is applying a force of 30 N, then find the resultant force on the box ?

(A) 15 N towards right (B) 15 N towards left (C) 30 N towards right (D) 30 N towards left hi

Answer:

The Free body diagram of the system is shown.

For block A: T−mg=ma

T−2g=2a

We get T=2a+2g

For block B + C system : mg+mg−T=(m+m)a

2g+2g−T=(2+2)a

⟹4g−T=4a

Or 4g−2a−2g=4a

Or 2g=6a

This gives a=g/3

For block C: mg−T

=ma

2g−T

=2a

Or 2g−T

=

3

2g

Thus we get T

=4g/3=

3

4×10

=13N

Answer: 15 Newton to the right

Explanation: Given
B=30n
a=2b
c=b/2
a=2*30=60
c=30/2=15
total force= 60- 30+15
                 = 60-45
                 = 15newtons to the right as left side has more force so the        object will move to the right
HOPE THIS HELPS YA :)
