stap by stap :
Let the number of days B working alone would take to plough the field be 'x'
So, in 1 day B would finish 1/x part of the work. A and C together can do it in 8 days,
So, in 1 day A and C together would finish 1/8th part of the work.
Now, A,B and C working together can plough a field in 24/5 days.
So, in 1 day A,B and C together would finish 5/24th of work.
1/x + 1/8 = 5/24 =>1/x = 5/24 - 1/8 = 2/24 = 1/12
x = 12.
Thus, B working alone would take 12 days to plough the field.
