Three persons eat in a hotel.each eats for rupees 25.so the total amount is 75.the waiter takes their bill to counter and the owner gives a discount of 5 rupees.he takes rupees 70 and gives 5 rupees to the waiter.waiter thinks 5 rupee cant be shared and he takes away 2 rupees. Then 3 rupee is between they three as 1,1,1.so the total amount they spent on their food is 24 now.count it now 24+24+24=72.add the two rupee with 72 .the total is 74.where is the remaining 1 rupee?

Total bill is Rs70. They pay 75. Rs70 goes for the bill payment. Rs 3 comes back to them. And Rs 2 goes to the waiter as the tip. 70+3+2=75

Now the confusion is being caused by mixing up things. If you say that the net payment of each person becomes Rs24 after getting 1 rupee back, then the total net payment
