Three pieces of rope measuring 0. 3 kilometres 30 and 30 cm respectively are joined end to end form a single rope find the cost of a single drop so formed if the cost of a rope is rupees 20 per metre

Answer:

let first convert 0.30km in meter i.e. 0.3×1000= 300m.

and convert 30cm also in meter i.e. 30÷100= 0.3m .

now add all 3 ropes to make it a single rope i.e. (300+30+0.3)m = 330.3m .

So the cost of rope @₹20 pm = 330.3×20= ₹6,606
