therefore, part of tank filled by pipe A in 1hr = \frac{1}{12}

                 part of tank filled by pipe B in 1hr = \frac{1}{20}

                 part of tank filled by pipe C in 1hr = \frac{1}{20}

therefore, If all pipes ,i.e, A B and C are opened together

                 part of tank filled in 1hr =\frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{15} + \frac{1}{20} = \frac{12}{60} = \frac{1}{5}

Hence, It will take 5 hours to fill the tank if all the three pipes are opened
