three points A, B, C are collinear can you draw a triangle ABC? if not, why?

numaan80: no we can't
numaan80: as the lines are collinear means in straight line

Hey mate,

Because collinear points are on a single line which makes it impossible to form a triangle!

hope this helps you out!

amansangam: thnx bruh!

We can not draw co-linear point A,B and C.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. For  any triangle which size of side is XY, YZ and ZX.

2. Let relation of size of side

   ZX < YZ < XY

3. For construction of Δ ABC, required condition are

   ZX + YZ > XY      ...1)

   Means

Sum of two small side of triangle is greater than larger side of triangle.

4. Equation 1) can be written as

  ZX > XY - YZ      ...2)

  Means

Smaller side if triangle is greater than difference of other two larger side.

5. Now come to question point A, B and C are co-linear point.

   For co-linear

   We can assume  that

   CA + BC =AB          ...3)

6. Here we see that equation 3) is not fulfil the required condition of construction of triangle given by equation 1) and equation 2).
