Step-by-step explanation:

suppose value of first prize = x.

=> value of 2nd price y = (5/6)x

=> value of 3rd price z = (4/5)y = (4/5)*(5/6)x = (2/3)x

=> total value = 150

=> x+y+z = 150

=> x + (5/6)x + (2/3)x = 150

=> x( 1 + 5/6 + 2/3) = 150

=> x (6+5+4)/6 = 150

=> x = (150*6)/15

=> x = 60

=> y = (5/6)x = (5/6)*60 = 50

=> z = (2/3)x = 2/3*60 = 40
