Let value of 1st prize be x

Value of 2nd prize = 5x/6

Value of 3rd prize = 4/5(5x/6)

= 4x/6

Given total cost = 150

x + 5x/6 + 4x/6 = 150

15x/6= 150

x = (150*6)/15= 60

2nd prize = 50

3rd prize = 40

Let the value of first prize = x

The value of second prize = 5x / 6

The value of third prize = (5x / 6) × (4/5)

= 20x /30

= 4x /6

the total value of the three prizes is ₹ 150

x + (5x/6) + (4x/6) = 150

15x /6 = 150

15x = 150×6

x = 900/15

x = 60

x = 60 5x/6 = 60×5/6 = 50

4x/6 = 60×4/6 = 40

the value of first prize = x = 60

The value of second prize = 5x / 6 = 50

The value of third prize = 4x /6 = 40

Hope this will help.....
