Value of 2nd price = 3x/5

Value of 3rd price = 2/3 × 3x/5 = 2x/5

X + 3x/5 + 2x/5 = 600

or, X( 1+ 3/5 + 2/5) = 600

or, X( 10/5) = 600

or,2x = 600

or X = 300

So value of first prize is Rs 300

Value of 2nd price is Rs 3×300/5 = 900/5 = Rs 180

Value of 3rd prize = 2× 300/5 = Rs 120
