Hey mate this is ur answer:
King Ashoka ruled in the Ancient times and Emperor
Akbar ruled during the medieval period. They were both great rulers of India.
At the same time they were good kings. They were broad minded and respected all
religions.

          After
the War of Kalinga Ashoka gave up war. He encouraged Buddhism. Emperor Akbar
was a muslim but his favorite courtier Birbal was a hindu. Akbar encouraged the
building  of temples and mosques alike.
It is said that he even visited Meerabai, the famous hindu saint.

          Both
the kings patronised the growth of language, literature and culture. Akbar had
nine gems at his court who were experts in various fields.

          Ashoka
and Akbar implemented liberal policies for the welfare of their subjects. They
were kind and just rulers.
