1/R=
1/5+1/10+1/30=1/3
therefore R=3 ohms
using the formula V=IR
12=I3
therefore I=12/3
=4 amperes
hope this helps

The answer is 0.218A

Let the equivalent resistance of the parallel resistants is 'R'.
So, 1/R = 1/5+1/10+1/15 =11/30
Thus, R=30/11 ohms.

CURRENT flowing through the circuit- i=R/V =(30/11)/12 A =0.218A
