Three resistance of 4ohms, 6ohms and 10ohms are connected in series. The potential difference across the combination is 5V. Calculate the potential difference across each resister. Plz solve​

Answer:

total resistance=4+6+10=20

potential diff=5v

current I=v/r

=5/20

=1/4 ampere

now for 1st resistance

i=1/4

r=4ohm

so v=ir

=1/4×4

=1 v

for 2nd,

r=6,i=1/4 v=ir

=1/4×6=1.5v

for 3rd,

r=10.i=1/4 v =ir

=10/4

=2.5v
