Answer. Minimum resistance is obtained by connecting all three resistances in parallel => 1/R =1/4+1/6+1/8 =>1/R = 6/24+4/24+3/24 => 1/R = 13/24 => R =24/13 ohm .

so,R=2 ohm. THERE IS ONE MORE METHOD TO FIND THE equivalent RESISTANCE IN PARALLEL, BUT THIS FORMULA WILL BE USED WHEN THERE WILL BE ONLY 2 RESISTANCES IN PARALLEL COMBINATION. =2 OHM.
