eqiivalent resistance of the series = r1+ r2+ r3
therefore equalent resistance = 3+3+3
=9ohms

Here it is given that three resistance of 3 ohm each are connected in series

We have to find out the total resistance

Let R1, R2, and R3 be the 3 resistances

Now, to find the total resistance of resistances that are connected in series

We have to simply add the resistances

Here, total resistance = R1 + R2 + R3

                                    = 3 + 3 + 3

                                    = 9

Hence, the total resistance will be 9 ohm
