Re = R1 + R2+R3

= 2+3+6

=11

in parallel

1/Re = 1/R1+1/R2+ 1/R3

1/Re = 1/2+1/3+1/6

1/Re = 6/6

1/Re= 1

the total resistence will be

2+3+6(ohm)

= 11 ohm

whereas the total resistence in parallel connection

1/2+1/3+1/6

I/rp= 6/12+4/12+2/12

1/rp= 12/12

rp=12/12

= 1 ohm
