Given :

➳ We have been provided three identical resistors each of resistance 6Ω.

To Find :

➢ We have to arrange them in such a way to get equivalent resistance equal to 9Ω

Diagram :

✪ Refer the attachment for better understanding.

Need to know :

Eq. resistance of series connection :

\bigstar\:\underline{\boxed{\bf{R_s=R_1+R_2+...+R_n}}}

Eq. resistance of parallel connection :

\bigstar\:\underline{\boxed{\bf{\dfrac{1}{R_p}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}+...+\dfrac{1}{R_n}}}}

SoluTion :

A and B are in parallel connection :

:\implies\sf\:\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}

:\implies\sf\:\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{6}+\dfrac{1}{6}

:\implies\sf\:\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{2}{6}

:\implies\bf\:R=3\Omega

(AB) and C are in series :

:\implies\sf\:R_{eq}=R+R_3

:\implies\sf\:R_{eq}=6+3

:\implies\underline{\boxed{\bf{R_{eq}=9\Omega}}}
