Solution :

GiveN :

▪ Three resistors each of 4Ω are connected to form a triangle.

To FinD :

▪ Equivalent resistance b/w any two verticles of the triangle.

ConcePt :

→ Equivalent resistance of series connection is given by

Rs = R1 + R2

→ Equivalent resistance of parallel connection is given by

Rp = R1R2/(R1+R2)

CalculaTion :

Equivalent of A and B :

→ Rs = R + R

→ Rs = 4 + 4

Rs = 8Ω

Net equivalent resistance :

→ Rp = R×Rs/(R+Rs)

→ Rp = 4×8/(4+8)

→ Rp = 32/12

Rp = 2.67Ω
