Three resistors having resistance 2 ohm, 3 ohm and 5 ohm are connected in series to a battery having potential 12V. Find potential difference across the terminals of each resistor.

Resistance = ( 2 + 3 + 5) ohm

Resistance = 10 ohm

Potential difference = IR

Potential difference = 12 × 20 = 120
