Three resistors of 4,5 and 6 ohm are connected as shown.
If the potential difference across 4 ohm resistor is 12 volt. Find the potential differences across the other 2 resistors. Also find the total current in the circuit

First we have to find current (I)

=V/R

=12/3.6=3.3A

Then potential difference between 6ohm=V=IR

V=3.3×6=19.8V

Then potential difference between 5ohm=V=IR

V=3.3×5=16.5V
