Three resistors of 5Ω ,10Ω and 15Ω are connected in series and the combination is connected to the battery of 30 V . Ammeter and voltmeter are connected in circuit. Draw a circuit diagram to connect all the devices in proper correct order. What is the current flowing and potential difference across 10Ω resistance?

R = R1 + R2 + R3 = 30Ω

I = V/R = 30 / 30 = 1A

V across 10Ω = IR2 = 1 × 10 = 10 V

Hope it will helps :)

Explanation:

Current through 10 ohm resistor will remain same that is equal to the total current in the circuit because the resistor is connected in series. The potential difference across 10 ohm resistance, Hence, The potential difference across 10 ohm resistor is 10 volt
