Answer: here sum of all resistance = 5+10+15 = 30

voltage i.e v=15

l = v/r

l = 15/30

l = 1/2 = 0.5 A

Current flowing through circuit = 0.5 A

Solution

We have,

Resistance₁ = 5Ω

Resistance₂ = 10Ω

Resistance₃ = 15Ω

Potential difference = 15V

As the three resistors are connected in a series, we will apply equivalent resistance in series formula :

Rₛ = R₁ + R₂ + R₃ + .............

⇒ Rₛ = 5 + 10 + 15

R = 30Ω

Now we will apply ohm's law :-

Current(I) = Voltage(V)/Resistance (R)

⇒ I = 15/30

I = 0.5 A

Current flowing through circuit = 0.5 A
