Three resistors of 5 ohm ,3ohms ,7 ohm are connected in series across a battery of potential difference 3 v.Find the current flowing through 3 ohm,7 ohm resistor.

I = V/R
I = 3 / (5 + 3 + 7)
I = 3/15
I = 0.2 A
Current flowing through 3ohm and 7ohm resistor is same i.e 0.2A.
For series arrangement current is same through all resistors.
I = 3 / (5 + 3 + 7)

Potential difference , V = 3v
As we know, I = V/ R
I = 3 / ( 5 + 3 + 7 )
