Hi friend,
Using prependecular axis theorem :-
lx = ly + lz
lx = 1/3 ( ML^2) + 1/3 ( ML^2 )
= 2/3 ( ML^2)
lx = 0.66 ML^2

Moment of inertia of Z (Iz) = I1 + I2 + I3 (I3 = 0 because rod is lying on z-axis)
= ML^2/3 + ML^2/3 + 0
= 2ML^2/3.
Hope this helps!
= ML^2/3 + ML^2/3 + 0
