Answer:

Your question is wrong.

It should be '......30 meters ahead of c, while.....'

because Distance between a and c is (distance between a and b) + (distance between b and c) = 24 + 16 = 30

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

_________C___(12)___B_______(24)________A (Finishing Point)

_____________________C_______(16)______B (Finishing Point)

Focus on B and C.

B and C had a distance of 12 m between them. When B finished the race by covering another 24 m, he created a gap of 16 m between them i.e. he created another 4 m gap while running 24 m.

Since he created a gap of 4 m by running 24 m, he must have created a gap of 16 m by running a total of 16*6 = 96 m
