Mendeleev's periodic table is arranged based on the increasing order of atomic mass.

  • The elements are arranged in a table according to their atomic weight increase, which is Mendeleev's table.
  • The elements are organized as rows and columns.
  • There are 7 rows which are also known as periods.
  • Eight columns or groups are there.
  • There are subgroups for each of the groups except the last group.
