Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of the sphere ( according to short cut )

=(r13+r23+r33)1/3=(13+63+83)1/3

=(1+216+512)1/3=(729)1/3=9

Answer:

since when any 3d structure is meleted so the radius of the earlier structure or solid is equal to the resulting solid

so, the radiuses of the three solid sphere were

r1=1cm

r2=6cm

r3=8cm

assume that the radius of resulting sphere would be=

R

now,

volume of the three sphere = volume of resulting sphere

4/3πr1^3 + 4/3πr2^3 + 4/3πr3^3 = 4/3πR^3

4/3π(r1^3+r2^3+r3^3) = 4/3πR^3

(1)^3+(6)^3+(8)^3 = R^3. ( we cancelled 4/3π from both the side)

1+216+512=R^3

729=R^3

√729 = R ( here there is the cube root of 729)

√3*3*3*3*3*3 = R

3*3= R

9 = R

R = 9 cm

so the radius of resulting sphere is 9 cm.
