Concept

In mathematics, "volume" is a mathematical quantity that indicates the amount of three-dimensional space occupied by an object or enclosed surface. The unit of volume is in cubic units such as m^3, cm^3, in^3, etc.

volume is simply defined as the amount of space occupied by any three-dimensional solid. These solids can be a cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder or sphere.

Given

It is given that three solid wooden cubes of different colours with sides, 30cm are placed side by side

Find

We need to find that how much cubic cm of wood is required to make it

Solution

Wood required to make this solid piece is length * breadth * height

length= 30cm+30cm+30cm=90 cm

Wood required = 90 *30*30

=81000 cm^3

Hence, 81000 cm^3 of wood is required to make it
