Three solutions A, B and C have the pH values: 2, 11 and 7 respectively. Which one of these
solution will turn Phenolphthalein indicator Pink? Why?

Solution B (having pH 11) will turn phenolphthalein pink because it's pH is 11 and therefore it is a base. Phenolphthalein is an acid base indicator so it changes its colour to pink in bases (and remains colourless in acids).
