Three stacks containing equal numbers of chips are to be made from 9 red chips, 7 blue chips, and 5 green chips. If all of these chips are used and each stack contains at least 1 chip of each color, what is the maximum number of red chips in any one stack?

it will be 5 bcoz 2 chips to be removed from the red as they will be placed in others while it will receive 1 blue and green chips

No.of chips in a bag = (9 + 7 + 5)÷3

= 7

Condition :- at least 1 chip of each color in each stack

Therefore, maximum number of red chips in any one stack

= ( 9 - 2{for remaining two stacks} )

= 7
