The wavelength of maximum intensity of emission λ_m of black body radiation is inversely proportional to the absolute temperature T of black body.

Mathematically

λ_m ∝ 1 / T

λ_m = b / T

Where b = Wien's constant.

Now λ_m for blue is minimum from Wien's Displacement law.

Therefore , star which appear blue has maximum temperature.
