Their particles as closely packed.
Their kinetic energy is very less and the particles just vibrate about their mean positions.
They cannot be compressed easily
Their inter molecular force of attraction is maximum and very strong
The inter particle space between them is least

Gas-
Everything opposite of solids

Liquid-
Their particles are arranged slightly loose than solids and more packed than gases
The molecules of liquid can move anywhere within the boundary of the liquid
They are slightly more compressible than solids
their intermolecular forces of attraction is less than solids and more than gases
