The number of pens and pencil sold by stationary C was 128 and retro of number of pen to pencil sold by stationary C was 5:3 The total number of pens sold by stationary A was 10%more than the pen sold by stationary B. Total number of pen and pencil sold by all the three stationary was 874.​

The average number of pens and pencils = 180

∴ Totol number of pens and pencils = 180 x 2 = 360

∴ Total number of pencils in the shop = 360 x (2/5) = 144

∴ 30% of 144 = (30/100) x 144 = 43.2 = 43

= 43 (approx)
