Given :- Three students gave an improvement test. Ajay scored 30/60 in his first test and 35/60 in improvement test. Sonu scored 42/70 in his first test and 50/60 in improvement test. Manish scored 50/60 in his first test and 42/50 in improvement test.

Solution :-

→ Ajay scored in first test = 30/60

→ Ajay scored in improvement test = 35/60

so,

→ Ajay improved score = (35/60) - (30/60) = (5/60) = (1/12)

similarly,

→ Sonu scored in first test = 42/70

→ Sonu scored in improvement test = 50/60

so,

→ Sonu improved score = (50/60) - (42/70) = (350 - 252/420) = (98/420) = (7/30)

and,

→ Manish scored in first test = 50/60

→ Manish scored in improvement test = 42/50

so,

→ Manish improved score = (42/50) - (50/60) = (252 - 250/300) = (2/300) = (1/150) (Ans.i)

now,

→ (1/12), (7/30), (1/150)

→ (25, 70, 2)/300

since,

→ 70 > 25 > 2

therefore,

→ (7/30) > (1/12) > (1/150)

hence, Sonu improved the most .
