Answer : Tom pay per month = £300

Explanation -

Given :

Total Rent - £700

Ratio = 3:2:2

Add the given Ratio = 3 + 2 + 2 = 7

Finding the share of Tom -

= 700 x 3/7

= 2100/7

= 300

Tom's share = £300

Hence :

Tom pay per month = £300

sum of ratio=7
Tom has bigger room so his ratio is high
that is 3
toms \: share =(tom \: ratio \:  \div totl \: ratio) \times total \: rent \\  =  (3 \div 7) \times 700 \\  = 300
