Let a:b:c = 1/2:1/3:1/4

multiply each term by 12, we

get ,

a:b:c = 6:4:3

Now ,

Let a = 6x ,

b=4x ,

c = 3x

Sum = 455 ( given )

=> a+b+c = 455

=>6x+4x+3x = 455

=> 13x = 445

=> x = 445/13

=> x = 35

Therefore,

a = 6x = 6×35 = 210

b = 4x = 4×35 = 140

c = 3x = 3×35 = 105

By multiplying all the terms by LCM(2,3,4)=12

1/2:1/3:1/4=6:4:3

Therefore, let the numbers be 6x, 4x and 3x

By condition, 6x+4x+3x=455

                                 13x=455

                                    x=35

Therefore the numbers are 35*6=210,  35*4=140 and 35*3=105

The numbers are 210,140 and 105
