Three test tubes, A, B and C contained 2ml each
of HCI, HNO3 and a mixture of the two in a ratio
of 3::1 respectively. Now a piece of a certain
metal was broken into three parts and dropped
into the three test tubes respectively. While there
was no reaction in A and B , the metal dissolved in
test tube C.
a. what is the name of the mixture in test tube C?
b. Could the metal be Copper or Gold?
c. Why is Gold used in making jewelry?
d. Name the metal which is stored in Kerosene.​
